John N. Pappas, M.D.
Dr. Pappas obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences at the University of California at Davis in 1992. He attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York and graduated with his medical degree in 1996. Dr. Pappas performed a Surgical Pathology Internship in New York Hospital at Cornell University Medical Center, New York, New York and then went to Duke University Medical Center and served as Chief Resident during his Diagnostic Radiology Residency, which was completed in 2001. The American Board of Radiology certified Dr. Pappas in 2001. The following year, Dr. Pappas completed a Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology Washington University Medical Center. Dr. Pappas worked with Vascular & Interventional Associates at Inova Fairfax Hospital, Falls Church, Virginia until 2004 when he joined Allegany Imaging, P.C. Dr. Pappas now works at both campuses of the Western Maryland Health System performing vascular procedures interventional radiology services. In 2004, Allegany Imaging began serving Preston Memorial Hospital in Kingwood, West Virginia and the Oakland MRI Center in Oakland, Maryland. Dr. Pappas is a member of the following organizations: Society of Cardiovascular & Interventional Radiology, American Association of Academic Chief Residents in Radiology, American College of Radiology, Radiology Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound, and College of American Pathologists
