Herbert Stanley Lambert, III, M.D.
A native of Western Maryland, Dr. Lambert attended the University of Maryland, College Park and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Neurobiology in 1992. He obtained his medical degree from the University of North Carolina in 1997 and received the Academic Merit Award. He was also awarded Intern Teacher of the Year during his Internal Medicine Internship at the University of Virginia Roanoke-Salem, Roanoke Virginia in 1998. Dr. Lambert performed his Diagnostic Radiology Residency as Chief Resident from 1998 – 2002 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.
After completion of his residency, Dr. Lambert moved back to Western Maryland and joined the practice of Allegany Imaging to work in Diagnostic Radiology at the Western Maryland Health System, Meyersdale Medical Center in Meyersdale, Pennsylvania and Garrett County Memorial Hospital in Oakland, Maryland. In 2004, Allegany Imaging began serving Preston Memorial Hospital in Kingwood, West Virginia and the Oakland MRI Center in Oakland, Maryland. Dr. Lambert is a member of the American College of Radiology.
At this time Dr. Lambert is working with Western Maryland Health System/Cumberland, MD, Garrett Regional Medial Center/Oakland, MD, and Garrett Medical Group/Urgent Care/Deep Creek Lake, MD.
